Temujin Restaurant and Takeaway
Address: - Sowerby Bridge 1st Floor, No. 1 Warehouse, Canal Basin, SoweTemujin specialises in stir fry, where we provide an exciting, entertaining, healthy and unique eating experience. Temujin was the birth name of the mighty Genghis Khan who rules the great Mongol Empire spanning from Turkey all the way across to Japan.
Before being crowned Genghis Khan in 1206 AD, Temujin had developed a large and strong cavalry to protect the empire. In between battles his warriors would cook thinly sliced meats, spices and vegetables on upturned shields.
This was the beginning of stir fry and the reason the whole of sub-continent Asia use the wok or “upturned shield” to cook their food. Temujin, Sowerby Bridge, is on the 1st Floor of a Grade II listed and regenerated warehouse overlooking the very scenic narrow boat mooring area in the beautiful canal basin of Sowerby Bridge.
Temujin always welcomes families and encourages children to try a range of meats, seafood, vegetables, etc.
