Home / About the restaurant About the restaurant The Astana Nur restaurant is comfortably located by the river in the very center of the capital, and the most beautiful view of the embankment, perhaps, opens from the summer veranda of our restaurant! The cuisine is Caucasian and European, the menu has more than 150 dishes, where SHASHLIK reigns supreme – the crown of Caucasian cuisine, we have more than 45 types!
We do not marinate the meat for shashlik, it is always fresh, therefore our shashlik is the best in the city! All dishes are prepared in compliance with national and centuries-old Eastern traditions. The restaurant itself consists of two halls, each with its own unique atmosphere. We combine Eastern hospitality with European service. The restaurant invites you to lunch. On weekdays from 12 to 16 o'clock there is a 20% discount on all dishes on the menu. All dishes prepared under the sensitive guidance of the chef are served with Caucasian generosity and European elegance - a wonderful Baku salad of juicy vegetables, eggplant caviar baked on coals, the finest Kutaby, Khachapuri made of puff pastry, Dovga soup based on matsoni, Dyushbara with tiny dumplings, pilafs, Piti (cooked over low heat for at least six hours) or Bozbash, always in pots, rich red borscht, oozing Kebabs, sturgeon from the Caspian Sea, river fish and seafood, all kinds of appetizers, salads and at the end of the meal - desserts; the most delicate Tiramisu, the most aromatic Baklava and always with tea brewed with thyme ...
